Issue with integrating 3rd party ioc feeds

Hi,

We are having R81.10 latest hotfix distributed setup.

We are trying to integrate external ioc feeds via smartconsole and getting an error "500- internal server error"

and sometime "Error : 400 Bad Request."

The firewall requesting method to the external feeds is GET rather than POST request. Due to GET method firewall is not able to connect to the external threat feeds site and throws up error.

Referred sk169573 : Check with proxy and without proxy, but no luck.

Not able to find any resource addressing this, can anyone throw some light on this.

WR,

Shira

An HTTP POST implies you are sending data to the server.
In this case, we are gathering data, so am HTTP GET is appropriate and expected behavior.

"Due to GET method firewall is not able to connect to the external threat feeds site and throws up error."
What does this mean exactly?

In any case, try the troubleshooting steps here: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...
