I can only see the fw.log log.

Hi

I can only see the fw.log log in smartveiw web.

 

Logindexing was set to 365 days.

 

On the next day, only the logs for that day will be displayed.

 

Smartconsole logs & monitor tab is not accessible.(smartview_server_certificate_is_invalid)

 

In smart view tracker, only the fw.log file is visible.

 

It is a smart-1 600s and the OS is R80.40 take173 and it is interlocked with smb 1800.

 

It happened after os upgrade and Security Gateway replacement.( Replaced firewalls with smb)

 

257 sessions are established.

 

Is there any solution?

I think SKs @G_W_Albrecht gave you are good starting point. I only had issue like this twice with customers and once mgmt reboot fixed it and 2nd time, we just installed latest jumbo available on the mgmt server, rebooted and it worked.

Not saying it would work for you, but something to consider...after all, it is a management, so reboot is pretty much okay any time.

This is because logfiles have been changed to gz files.

It has been confirmed that this is due to the cronjob setting that compresses the log file set by the customer with "gzip" and sends it to the log server.

 

"Smartconsole logs & monitor tab is not accessible.(smartview_server_certificate_is_invalid)"

 

This issue is still ongoing

I plan to install the latest hotfix on the management sever.

What version/JHF is the management server?
gzipped log files cannot be viewed in SmartView (Tracker), they must be uncompressed.

Yes. I tried rebooting but that didn't fix it.
