Regarding Maestro - 52 Gateways throughput

Hi,

It has been highlighted that in maestro we can add 52 gateways together and get throughput up to 1.5 Tbps (in case of 28600HS)

As per my understanding we can only add 31 gateways (maximum) in single security group and hence traffic intended for security group 1 will not be processed by any of the appliance in security group 2.

So, at max we can get throughput of [31 x (per GW throughput)] per group for particular set of traffic (processed by that group).

Then Security group 2 can have max 21 gateways and throughput of that security group would be [21 x (per GW throughput)]

Also, we can create 8 security group. So, throughput will be distributed among the groups as per members per group.

As a whole per orchestrator, we can get throughput of up to 1.5 Tbps but not for single security group (or particular set of traffic)

Hope I am on right track, please share your inputs in this regard.

Regards,

Jaspal Singh

Yes the throughput numbers depend on the number & type of appliances also the enabled blades.

QLS / MLS appliances can also be used with Maestro for higher throughput refer:
