fw_full process consumes 100% CPU

Hi,

Sometimes, the fw_full process seems to be on 100%. Please refer the attached screenshot. I found the SK regarding this issue but still I thought of asking in this Community. Has anyone faced this issue? If yes, please help me resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Nischit A.

It would be helpful if you provided some basic details about your configuration, such as:

  • Version
  • Jumbo Hotfix level
  • Blades in use

Also, there are several SKs that mention fw_full with high CPU.

Which ones did you review?

Which SKs did you review about this problem?

As I said, there are a few of them and it wasn't clear which one you thought might be appropriate.

Hi Dameon,

It's sk119841 that I think might be appropriate. I haven't tried anything else in my appliance thinking this might be a common issue and someone from this community has faced this issue.

This SK mentions other symptoms, do they apply to you?

What about some of the other SKs that mention fw_full and high CPU?

If none of these apply, it's probably time to get the TAC involved to help troubleshoot further.

Hi Dameon,

I will check if the symptoms matches any of the SK and follow SK based on the symptoms. I will share it if the issue gets resolved. Thanks for your help Dameon!
