Hi,
Any one knows if there is a limitation of the number of remote access VPN by base on the appliances?
The support ended in the 31 of December 2018 and at this moment I am not able to have more than 4 users at same time using remote access with access to the internal resources. The other users perform the VPN successfully, however they are not able to access the internal resources.
Can you help me understand this behavior?
Regards
Unless the license purchased was a perpetual one then the functionality will likely be tied to your annual renewal.
Note the base license usually includes mobile access licenses for 5 concurrent users.
Hi,
In some model, Default remote access VPN connection is 5. You can check the datasheet of model which you have. Also you can check blade CPSB-MOB or CPSB-SSLVPN numbers in cplic print output.
You can check the number of concurrent connection with below command.
Hi,
Thank you for the answer, but this issue is not with SSL VPN. is related to users connected by ipsec vpn using CheckPoint EndPoint Security.
Regards
Ok. Got it
Same applies to the Endpoint Security license, VPN does not allow more than the factory default when the subscriptions have expired. Which comes down to the 5 user limit, same for SSL VPN and VPN clients.
The Mobile Access Blade is a perpetual license and thus is not subject to maintenance renewals. Try these commands to check how many licensed MAB users you have:
dtps lic
cplic check -c cvpn

MOB licenses are perpetual and will continue to work even if you do not renew the associated support contract.
