Just a quick silver paper question..

Does any one here know if it is normal that you have so many system-auth files with strange extensions in the /etc/pam.d/ directory on a 80.40 standalone installation ? 

# ls -alrt /etc/pam.d/

The content of one of the pam files ( system-auth.xxxx )

A diff shows some spaces at the end compared to the original system-auth
