HP DL380 Gen10 R80.20 kernel 3.10 or R80.30 kernel 3.10 Installation Issues

Is there anyone can install R80.20 / R80.30 kernel 3.10 on HP DL380 Gen10 server ?

Hardware is HP DL380 Gen10 with raid controller HPE Smart Array P816i-a SR Gen10.

as state in HCL.

installation progress through disk format and reboot for first time
but after that failed to access harddisk and remain in boot loop.

BIOS configuration
- HT disable
X2APIC disable
- enable legacy boot
- Raid controler present on boot controller order

Install from external dvd drive.

we also tested Linux legacy boot installation which success to install and boot into OS
but failed on Gaia kernel 3.10

The HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10 does not detect all USB devices, including various USB flash drives (regardless of their content). This is not a software issue. If a bootable USB device  is not recognized by this server, try a different USB device vendor.

Im use a "Zalman ZM-VE300 2.5” HDD/SSD Enclosure Virtual ODD USB 3.0/2.0" for years to install GAIA.:-)

I think ZM-350 should work too.

It is a USB hard disk that can simulate stored ISO's as a DVD ROM drive.

Maybe it is a problem as described in this article with HP DL360/380 G9:

HP Server DL360 380 G9 reboot issue

Tip: Use an older BIOS.
