Checkpoint Manager Hardware Requirements - VM

Hi Experts, 

 

I want to build a checkpoint manager/mgmt server on a VM for my client. This will be used for the test environment managing 2 physical gateways. What are recommendations for to build it , 

Hardware Requirements

Processor :

Total CPU Cores :

Memory :

Recommended free disk space

Physical RAM Limit

I would say if this will be production, personally, from my experience, on top of what Chris gave, I would double those values, ie 4 cores and 16 GB of ram, MINIMUM.

I use 4 cores/16gb of RAM as my base management VM for my lab…

Yes sir, same here...for gateways, 4 cores minimum (usually 8)and 24 GB of ram.

So what would be the ideal config , that we could use , BTW is a test environment 

Total CPU Cores : 4

Memory : 16 GB

Disk Space: 1 TB 

Is it good ? or you have any suggestions

Ideal is an it depends situation but since it's a VM you can mostly adjust it as needed...

Yup, perfect! In my lab, I have R81.20 mgmt 4 cores, 16 gb ram and 200 gb hdd, never an issue.
