Unable to login to preboot

Laptop was idle for more than 20 days and not connected to the server. when trying to login in the preboot there is no DOMAIN option in the preboot. I was unable to login. DMU is working fine.

Manual User acquisition and no synchronization between AD and preboot policy in server.

Have anyone had come across such scenario.

What version of client/server?

Note that you typically have to assign accounts to preboot.

They should also be cached locally (at least in my experience).

Which would be ideal if the system does not see the network regularly.
