SandBlast Agent is blocking internal applications on user machines

Hi Everyone,

 

We are actually facing the issue below:

We deployed SBA in customer environment. And since the agent is installed on their machines they can't access and use the internal applications because the SBA is blocking those applications and putting them in quarantine.

How can we authorise those internal applications and remove file from quarantine ?

Agent version is E84.30

management is cloud based.

Please need your assistance .

What are the applications being blocked? Some third party apps might require whitelisting/exceptions to be configured. Usually the list of paths/processes that need to be whitelisted is provided by the software vendor.

Thank you for your response.

It's an application they developed based on delpi and sql as database.

The application is located on a server and user can access to it through some shortcuts (.exe) they created on their machines. When they executed the shutcuts, the SBA is blocking the application so they cannot access to it and files are going to quarantine.

ideally the developers provide some path/process exceptions, but if they don't and you trust the application, i would simple put exceptions for the exe's and possibly working paths.
