Media Encryption & Port Protection creating Device Override

Hi

We are running EndPoint in the cloud and I am trying to configure the Media Encryption & Port Protection so that users can

-plug in any Removable Media Device and the device is set to allow read (using the Storage Device Read Access Policy)

-plug in authorised Removable Media Device and the device is set to allow write (using the Storage Device Write Access Policy)

The first part is easy

But the second part, allow write access for authorised Removable Media Devices I am struggling with

I have created an exception in the Device Overrides for a specific Removeable Storage Device “ADATA test 2”

This is how I got the Device ID

When I try to write to the Removable Storage Media I get

I have also tried “Add Device” via the following

Although the device has been created, if I select “Add Device” it does not appear

If I go to the Peripheral Devices Access Policy the device “ADATA Test 3” appears here

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance.
