Harmony Endpoint Blue Screen on Virtualized Windows

One of our users, the only one with a virtual PC (HyperV), is experiencing random exceptions (blue screen) in his system. No apparent behavioral coincidence between one occurrence and others.

Has anybody had problems when using harmony Endpoint in virtual machines?

What does the Event Viewer show you as the error, as well as the faulting application?

Hi Howard.
The Event Viewer has no record of the exception. What we see is the machine becoming unstable with various errors, including disk controller errors.  But it is a virtual controller. The host machine has no errors. We have run chkdsk on the virtual. No erros.

Very odd that you would get an actual blue screen, and nothing in the event viewer.

What about a minidump file?  They are located in the following folder:

C:\Windows\Minidump

You can open these with BlueScreenView:

ntoskrnl.exe exception, but no apparent culprit.

Will keep checking previous dmp files.

You might want to check you have all the latest Windows patches installed as well.
