Can we duplicate individual IPS protections ?

Hi Guys

We want to have an IPS protection with some custom settings applied to a server, but then have the same protection with other custom settings applied to other systems etc.

Is it possible do do this? Or are IPS protections applied globally if a change is made to one of them?
