Using Quantum Spark as a DHCP Server for small deployment.
Is there any way (preferably in WebGUI) to find out active leases.
Home > Monitoring > Active deices - only a L2 discovery,
Any other ways to find. ?
The lease info is in /var/dhcpd.leases.* which can be accessed from expert mode.
What leases are you missing in WebGUI ?
I haven't found a area where is shows active lease info.
I'm trying to migrate from another vendor solution, which has al the details about the lease.
such as lease expiry, whether it static lease or dynamic etc.
I can only see active devices, which is found via L2 discovery.
See the CP Active device vs current vendor solution, in the attached screenshot.
Is there any other place to see, ? I tried the filters in Active devices
Check this directory on the CLI:
ls -l /var/dhcpd.leases*
The lease info is in /var/dhcpd.leases.* which can be accessed from expert mode.
Just an addition: If i look into my /var/dhcpd.leases.br0 i will find nothing, as all clients are defined as follows:
DHCP is set like this:
I only want pre-defined clients to be able to try to connect 8)
Yes I learned that the hard way. That is ok for static leases.
We need more visibility on the WebUI, for SMB solution CLI is not the way to go.
I was expecting some impartments in R81.10, not there yet.
Best place to do this is introduce a filter in Active devices area, or introduce a DHCP section, under network.
I'm yet to try SMS managed SMB.
I would rather suggest to use another DHCP server that gives that information more easily in GUI.
These are small deployments, or branch offices, almost all services used are cloud based.
Not always possible to run a separate DHCP server.
I'm trying to replace a competitor solution which existed for years, all in the one box, with better visibly.
