Important! R80 and R80.10
End Of Support around the corner (May 2021)
Hi all, is there a way to create users in R80.10 Smart-event alone without creating a super user which have access to all the gateways and other management systems.
need a way to create a user in smart view who can create custom views and reports inside R80.10 Smart Event
Create a profile that has only these settings enabled and assign it to the relevant user:
Have the admin access via SmartView (https://smartevent-ip/smartview) also.
Does this hold true if the SmartEvent is running on R80.10 but the MDS is on R77.30? I have given my profile full read/write and my MDS role is Domain Manager. This is to simulate a 3rd party of my MDS only being able to see their domains/CMA's. With these settings i'm unable to create a custom report but can create a custom view. If i change my MDS role to Global Domain Manager then the new report option is available. In my environment, Global Domain Manager isn't an option as the 3rd party would then have a view of every customer.
Thanks.
That doesn't sound like correct behavior and should probably be investigated with the TAC.
I'm also working with pro services on it. Thanks for the feedback.
