Wildcard object (worked on R80.10 but fails on R80.20)

I like the concept of wildcard objects as it allows me to drop all local net broadcasts with something like:

Policy

It saved me a lot of logging in R80.10 but in R80.20 it seems it doesn't work as advertised:

Anyone seen this issue as well?

I think you're missing your diagram.

Also, your subject says R80.10 twice Smiley Happy

The wildcard object

10.0.0.255

0.255.255.0

Match –

10.[0-255].[0-255].255

You put the wildcard object in the source , but the source in the log is 10.0.1.1 it does not match the wildcard object .

The destination match the wildcard object – so if you put it in the destination it should match .

please let me know if i get it wrong.

It's one of those cases where the answer is staring you in the face and you just can't see it.

Better reduce my workload a bit 😉

Thanks for showing my silly mistake.
