Important! R80 and R80.10
End Of Support around the corner (May 2021)
Hi Checkmates,
I found a detail in the first time wizard in R80.10 that I was unaware of before and i want to share it:
If you use a normal gateway appliances like a 21400 (i only test it on this appliance) then it is only possible to setup gateway or gateway + management. The option management only is not possible with the hint "Gateway has to be set".
In the main work it is not important but if you try to test something and think "oh here is a old appliance" then be aware of it 😉
Kind regards
It is possible to override this by editing /etc/appliance_config.xml prior to running the First Time Wizard.
That said, doing so is officially unsupported (but might be sufficient for lab purposes).

Ah ok nice to know.
Thank you for the trick.
