Important! R80 and R80.10
End Of Support around the corner (May 2021)
One of those other hidden gems in R80.10 - viewing logs in web browser (https://<mgmt>/smartview/)
Has anyone else noticed the difference the logs are shown in different browsers, IE looks like this
But FF and Chrome like this with more widgets attached to it and I cannot work out if it's possible to change the layout at all. Don't like using IE yet cannot "fix" FF/Chrome layout
Doesn't seem to be much info around it or I'm using wrong search string
Otherwise really useful for log export to CSV/XLS and general log viewing!
The layout is defined according to the available space on screen.
In IE, due to the bookmarks bar, there is not enough space for the timeline and top component.
Make you FF/Chrome browser window smaller while logging in, and you will get the minimized layout as well.
In R80.20 we have redesigned the web log viewer and made the side panes collapsible.
This is how it looks with collapsed panels:
Hope you like it,
Please share your feedback!

Quick question - none of the top widgets show anything nor timeline. Is that expected in MDS? Should I be selecting CMA when I log in or MDS? Both seem to work but widgets show nothing with either
That's an interesting question. Do you have SmartEvent enabled?
It shouldn't matter if you connect to the MDS or CMA.
