will there be an impact on authentication?

Hello All,

we have FW R80.40 with RAS VPN configured. The Authentication occurs using Active Directory direct requests via Port UPD 389. Now we want to switch Authentication to the RADIUS by adding "Multiple Login Option". Question: will the new option break the current authentication or not?

Thank you in advance

You should add some more information and perhaps screenshots on what you are planning to do.

If you are not switching but adding the new option as number 2 in the drop down menu then it should work just fine.

it will be not an option two, but the first the fw-node side... of course, I will do everything with the test user, and then switch everyone to this authentication method.

the current authentication method is on the left picture, the new one will be on the right picture:

To not have an impact on existing users, you will need to ensure the method you are using for your existing users is included in the multiple authentication client settings.

the existing users are authenticated by LDAP as shown above. How can I add this into Miltiple Login Option?

Username and Password (which should also include LDAP).
