is it possible to allow traffic to captive portal and drop traffic to gaia web portal

 I have a guest network segregated from corporate networks. I would like guests to be redirected to  https://connect - captive portal but should not be able to load https://x.x.x.x - gaia web portal. 

is this possible using a policy?

It is possible if you change the port for the Platform Administration Web Portal in the gateway object. You can allow this new port only for administration, and the standard :443 for the captive portal.
