Problem booting r80.30 iso on Dell PowerEdge r640

after checking the HCL we bought 2x PowerEdge R640.

unfortunately even if this server is supported in the hcl we're not able to boot the ISO from the idrac.

we also try to use the isomorphic tool build 181 to create an usb bootable stick but same problem.

someone had the same problems or have any suggestions?

thanks

andy

Which precise ISO are you trying to boot?
If it's the standard R80.30 ISO for gateways, that definitely won't work as the Linux 2.6 kernel does not support newer hardware.
We have a separate R80.30 ISO with Linux 3.10.
Or you can use R80.40 which has Linux 3.10 as the default for all ISOs.

I would see if R80.40 is any better if not might be worth a TAC case.
