hi,

im having an issuse connecting to mab portal with new local created users (old users connect successfully)

in securemote connecting with new local users is ok.

message in log "failed log in" , reason "unknown user"

in user web portal i get "Access denied -wrong user name or password".

cant find the misconfiguration.

anyone encounter ?

How precisely are the users created?
How do they different from existing users that work successfully?
What version/JHF of gateway are we talking about?

the users have the same groups  and created with the same templates

cp  version is r81 in cluster

whenever i tried to connect there were no logs in the vpdn.elg file for the user.

i dont know how and why after basic restart to the active cp everything returned back to normal.

When you fail over to the secondary and try again, does it still fail?

on the secondary it didnt fail. connection was successful on the portal.

when i failover back to the primary after restart , worked fine.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot we can do to find what happened if a reboot resolved the issue.
I recommend a TAC case if this happens again.
