IDA and Windows 10 Multi-user
Hi All,
We are just starting to roll out Windows Virtual Desktop in Azure (WVD).
This is to look at a replacement for Citrix and automatically spins up additional hosts into a pool as demanded. This uses Windows 10 enterprise's multi-session feature to host multiple users on a single host, spinning up additional hosts as demand increases.
Which IDA agent should I be installing on the Windows10 image to get this to work?
Note: We already run IDA on-prem with a mix of AD-based identity and terminal-services agent for Citrix. Within Azure IDA will be primarily used to control internet access through VMSS-Cloudguard appliances (Identity server a checkpoint appliance on-prem).
Any advice would be appreciated

I'm assuming since this is like a terminal server you'd use MUH. Whether we've tested this or not is a seperate issue. @Royi_Priov ?

Hi,
We have exact the same case. Neither muh not muh2 agents will not work.
Windows server is not an option here as it will require additional licenses while Win10 multi-session is already included in M365 subscription.
TAC confirmed that it is not supported and Identity agent for Win10 multi-session is not planned for development. That's sadly.

Is there any update about this?
WVD solution is growing fast and we want to create identities based policies as we do on-prem

As far as I know, this is still not supported on regular Windows 10.
Would require an RFE.

Hi @fish2019 , all,
MUH2 agent has QA cycle on top of Windows Virtual desktop which is planned to be finished by the end of this year. The RFE ID for your reference is 6-0002918007.
