Hi Team,
I am about to enable BGP peering with router and will be receiving around 6000 number of routes from that router. Wondering my firewall with model 6900, 32GB RAM and R80.30 can accept those many routes?
Will it cause any adverse effects on routes processing or BGP daemon?
I had seen customer with 10K + routes and worked fine.
I had seen customer with 10K + routes and worked fine.
Does the topology necessitate that you must see the specific granular routes or can they be aggregated/summarised/filtered?
Sometimes we do things just because and that's fine, but is it really needed...
That is the option already communicated to ISP if they can summarize the route and send it to us
I have one setup with OSPF where we see around 7800 routes in 1 VS.
Thanks and it worked as expected. This was a not a problem.
