Backup stucks at 99%
Hi,
We got a 26k appliance (VSX) with R80.40 Take 173. There is a task to make a backup and send it through FTP but the process is blocked:
Gateway:0> show backup status
Performing ftp backup
Step: Uploading Backup File
Progress: 99%
Tonight (we have to do it in a maintenance windows as the appliance is very critical) we'll follow the steps from sk100403. My doubt is, if those steps fail, cpstop; cpstart would be enough or do we have to reboot the whole machine?
Thanks

Thanks for your answers!. The problem was fixed by deleting the /var/CPsnapshot/tmp/backup_util.lock file. No need to reboot the machine or cpstop; cpstart.

Yup, cpstop; cpstart is enough. I followed that sk before and works fine.
Best,
Andy

Thats perfect, even better if you did not need cpstop/cpstart.
Best,
