CP 1600 device Syslog Config

Hi All,

Please let us know if there is any option to configure the Syslog in the CP 1600 SMB device as we have in the 5400, 6200 and above models which uses GAIA. Customer wants to check the logs from their end by collecting it in the Syslog server.

Regards,

Sanjay S

Yes for centrally and locally managed 1600 devices syslog is supported. Could you be more specific regarding the need or the concern you have?

Thank you Albrecht,

Is there any recommended syslog server OS that Checkpoint recommends?

Previously we had partnerships with the likes of Siemplify (since acquired by Google) and others.

Log Exporter supports:

  • SIEM applications: Splunk, LogRhythm, Arcsight, RSA, QRadar, McAfee, rsyslog, ng-syslog, and any other SIEM application that can run a Syslog agent.
