End Of Support around the corner (May 2021)
We have Remote Access VPN setup for our users which connect to office mode using ip address from cp_officemode network and the ipassignment.conf File. I belive this is the default set up.
The current set up works well for us, allowing our employees to connect to our network from our devices using CheckPoint Endpoint Client.
Would it now be possible to create a set of users that connect using the standalone vpn client and get a different ip address scope.
The use case for this would be allowing our supply chain support services access to at subset of our network as and when required.
Is it possible to give one ip adreses pool to our employees group and another ip address pool to our defined outside support user group?
Yes, you would configure this via ipassignment.conf.
great thanks for confirming we will give it a go.
