E84.20 - Windows Client Disconnects
Hi,
We have noticed the latest Windows update 2004 causes E84.20 to disconnect the PC/Laptop if the user is inactive and the machine locks.
We have had to roll back to an earlier version
Regards
Wayne

Hi all,
we have the same issue. After upgrading to E84.20 the vpn-tunnel is disconnected as soon as the machine is locked. I did not find any hint in the release notes for this behavior.
Regards,
Hanspeter

What is the value for do_re_authentication_while_session_is_locked in your trac_client_1.ttm file?

This value does not exist in the trac_client_1.ttm file. My gateway version is R80.10 , my management runs with R80.40.

Val,
This only affects clients running E84.20.
I am running E83.10 and have no issues
I am not sure changing the FW files will help?

I would try this first, and then, if not effective, open a TAC case

Hi Wayne,
Did you find some solution for this issue either with TAC or by changing the value in the trac file?
Thanks.

Folks,
I apologize for inconvenience.
This is known issue which happens with E84.20. It has already been fixed in E84.30.
It is also listed in Known Limitations and has dedicated SK:

The sk says "The issue happens on E84.20 version only and and has been fixed in E84.30 release."
You say "This is known issue which happens with E84.20 and E84.30. It has already been fixed in E84.40"
What is right? 🙂
