Can I re-use a layer in different policies?

I created a layer to be used in a certain policy. Can I use it in other policies as well, so I won't have to create the same rules over and over again?

All you have to do is right-click the layer from the navigation pane, select "Edit layer..", and check "Multiple policies can use this layer".

This feature is completely backward-compatible with all existing versions of the Check Point Gateways.

See also Sharing a layer across different policies  for more details on sharing layers.
