Block Nudity Images in Search Engine Results

Haii,

Our IT manager has requested if it is possible to block the images that appear in a Google search if someone is to search for the word porn.

You most likely need to do the following:

1. Block the QUIC protocol
2. Enable "Enforce safe search on Search Engines" in Manage & Settings > Blades > App Control & URL Filtering > Advanced Settings
3. Enable HTTPS Inspection

Note this flags request to Google/Bing to use "Safe Search" for outgoing search requests and the results are controlled entirely by them.

Hi, will this "enforce safe search on search engine" work if you are not yet doing "HTTPS Inspection" - is it dependent on having HTTPS inspection functional?

Yes you must have full HTTPS Inspection enabled as all the search providers force HTTPS.

Hi,

If you are using internal DNS, you can do it by adding DNS record of google.com to safe search IP as far i remember. Same apply for bing as well if user uses bing search engine. By this Safe search will be automatically enabled on end host and user can't disable it.

This don't require https inspection to be on.

Thanks
