Hello All,
We are in the process of upgrading our checkpoint appliances from R77.30 to R80.10 and I wanted some information on how to do this on Standalone appliances.
After looking on Checkpoints website I found the Upgrade/Download Wizard and it says it is not possible to upgrade a standalone 2200 Appliance from R77.30 to R80.10. The wizard doesn’t give you this option.
I believe it is not possible to upgrade this appliance directly, however is it possible to move the management server from this appliance to a separate server and then upgrade using the import/upgrade tool?
I am not sure how this process would work and whether moving the management server is possible from this appliance.
Can anyone help with answering this question.
