SmartConsole Extension for high availability management
Hey everyone,
My customer is running on his primary smart center the SmartConsole Extension for HCP.
He is able to receive the info from his gateways but not from his stand-by (back-up) firewall management.
I think it is not supported and also not really the point of HCP. What do you guys think?
I am not able to find any limitations regarding this topic. It looks like before HCP was only for gateways but slowly it gets more introduced also for management systems(if I am reading the info correctly).
Note he is able to open the HCP report locally and download it via SCP, just not the extension.

I have to bump this topic to update it.
Issue is solved or will be solved in the next HCP release.
If you encounter same issue, make sure the HCP is update with latest release.
Check sk171436 for latest HCP release.

Is this a Full HA configuration (gateway and management on both cluster members) or Management HA (primary/standby management system)?
From the changelog, it seems management has been supported for a bit, but it's entirely possible it doesn't support querying the backup management system.

Indeed it is regarding a Management HA (primary/standby management system)
Only the stand-by management member does not show in HCP. I suspect a limitation.

It might be something that wasn't accounted for.
In any case, I've raised it with R&D.
