Customer using SMS on R80.30 Take 226.
This morning, they rebooted the SMS as apparently they couldn't connect with Smart Console. By the time I checked the system, everything looked peachy and everything was working.
However I found out later in the day that all Log Exporter config was gone. Everything in $EXPORTERDIR was pristine and cp_log_export commands didn't show any targets.
I doubt the customer would have done anything as they just use the Smart Console for daily operations.
It happened already I had to manually restart the log exporter after a reboot but it's the first time I see this.
Now it's not a big deal as the configuration was very simple (couple of local syslogs without any advanced settings), but I wonder if there's anything that could have caused this?
