TCP state logging does not seem to log TCP session timeout

During connectivity troubleshooting "TCP state logging" seems to be a useful functionality.

Unfortunately in cases when I needed to see the "TCP session timeout" events (TCP session removed from the fw state table because of long inactivity) I was not able to find them in the logs. Also the article sk101221 does not seem to describe logging of such events.

Am I missing something or are "TCP session timeout" events really not being logged by "TCP state logging"?

Do you know if this important functionality is planned to be implemented in the firewall?

As far as I know, we do not log when TCP connections are removed from the state tables due to timeout.
Most likely it's an RFE and I would bring this requirement up with your local Check Point office.
