Can anyone share the hardware requirements for a R80.20 dedicated logging server (MLM)

Haha - how long is a piece of string? Minimum specs you be get in release notes. Else. All depends on number of domains and logs/sec they will be receiving. Plus how long you need to retain logs for.

In any case more is always better with R80.x

well if you read the minimum hardware requirements , there's a  small line written under the table that this isn't applicable on smartlog/smart event server. 

other than storage capability, do you know what is recommended processor and memory details ?

Smart-1 50, 150, 3050, 3150, 5050, 5150
