We want CheckPoint to replace EOP can this be done ?
Internet ==> CheckPoint ==> Office365 Mailbox
How do I do this
Need to Point MX to Checkpoint and create connector from checkpoint to office 365.
A better approach would be to use CloudGuard SaaS, then you wouldn’t have to replace the MTA at all.
What are your precise goals here?
We are using CloudGuard SaaS.
The issues here is Microsoft Exchange Online is sending legitimate emails to the Junk E-Mail folders base on Spam confidence level (SCL) and
subsequently mails are treated as Junk.
We want to bypass EOP and allow Cloud Guard Sas to do the mail filtering.
My understanding is
Internet ==> Office365 ==> EOP Check the Rules==> Pass to CloudGuard SaaS, ==> CloudGuard SaaS Checks the Mails to see any threats ==> then forward to Office 365==> which is forwarded to users mailbox
No what I want is can I accomplish this.
Internet(Incoming Mails) ===> Goes to Cloud Guard SaaS ==> Cloud Guard SaaS Checks the Mails to see any threats ==> then send to Office 365==> which is forwarded to users mailbox
Microsoft suggested this
Issue Resolution: Need to Point MX to Checkpoint and create connector from checkpoint to office 365.
So the other options is to have CheckPoint MX record to be entered in the DNS entry and router the message.
Is this posible.
Thanks
Dhevan
Check Point can be an MTA, yes, if so configured.
I believe we are also working on a Cloud MTA as well, which may be a better fit for this.
