Hello
I have updated ips on management but I cannot find CVE-2020-1464 signature.
Does Check Point has CVE-2020-1464 IPS protection?
Does Check Point has plan to release this signature?
Thank you.
For IPS to be able to “block” something, it has to be transmissible on the network, I.e. something that is remotely exploitable.
From my read of the CVE, this is a privilege escalation within the app itself.
If there is a widely known way to exploit it via network traffic, I assume we can/will create a signature for it.
