upgrading process for gateways 4800 r77.30 to r80.30

We are planning to upgrade r77.30. to r80.30, Will 4800 gateway compatible for r80.30. If yes what is the procedure for the up gradation.

Need your valuable suggestion.

Why not upgrade to R80.40 which is currently the widely recommended version by Check Point. It also supports 4800:
