I wish to leave only R77.30 installed but finding it difficult to remove R77.20 / R77.10 / NGX compatibility software ( even with Iobit Uninstaller )

What would be the best way to do this and can someone point me in the right direction ?

Check these out, there is a nice script called RemoveOldVersion.sh that can do what you want:

The management server is on Windows 2012 R2.

Do I need to just remove Smartconsole as per sk91060 instructions

On Windows OS, there is no automated way to remove old files from the previous installations. Users can only uninstall old SmartConsole packages. Manual deletion (or uninstalling) of previous versions' folders should not be performed.

i.e

Checkpoint SmartConsole R77.30
Checkpoint SmartConsole R77.20
Checkpoint SmartConsole R77

Would that be enough ?

Uninstalling old SmartConsole GUI software on Windows is definitely safe.

When you upgrade from past versions on Windows, it's not possible to remove the previous versions.

The components won't necessarily be there anyway as the components are upgraded "in place."

You can remove older SmartDashboard installations, though.

It should be noted that R77.30 is the last version supported on Windows.
