There is a hotfix available for the R77.30, but i do not see anything for R80.10, nor are there any means within WebUI to achieve the same:

How to restrict the advertising of specific speed on multi-speed 1G/10G Fiber interfaces that use IX...

Although it is a pretty convoluted solution.

If you know of a way to do the same in R80.10, please let me know.

Thank you,

Vladimir

Is the other end also using 10GB optics?

If so, then you're going to see it auto negotiate to 10GB...

No, the other end is Cisco 1GB.

Working on a pair of 15400s in my lab, but am not yet equipped for 10GBE.

I don't know if the 10Gb interface does support 1Gb SFP's but the text above is wrong it should both read 10Gb the only difference between the SFP's is short rang (SR) and long range (LR) fiber.

You could try to put a 1Gb SFP in and see if it comes up, but I doubt it.

I had a double-take myself when I've seen it, but decided to clarify.

Ended-up buying a MikroTik switch with SFP+ and 10GB transceivers, so the links are up and I can continue working.
