Re: 5600 in VSX cluster not booting

Follow

How to check the hard drive integrity in Gaia/SecurePlatform OS with the 'fsck' command

to do a filesystem check in maintenance mode. Error messages are showing a problem with the filesystem.

I followed the instructions on the sk. At the moment i can log in to the gateway from clish which i couldn't but i am getting this error on the clish

CPPRODIS_init_error_logging: failed to retrieve directory path for product 'cpshared'. Cannot set cyclic log file for product 'cpshared' application 'cprid'.

Re: 5600 in VSX cluster not booting

Sounds like the basic installation now gone to the point where going to be easier to rebuild the box and re-establish the VSX on the box.

Re: 5600 in VSX cluster not booting

Indeed, just put a USB stick with the right OS in it and do a clean install.
You probably had a power failure?
That can cause a corrupted disk.

Re: 5600 in VSX cluster not booting

Here's another dilemma, i just observed that the SYNC, MGMT and Ethernet Ports link status are all down. Even though they are connected to Switch and Gateway (for SYNC)

I tried to connect my laptop to the Mgmt and SYNC interface and it didn't not light up. On the other hand, my 10Gb fiber ports that are connected to the same switch are up.

Bear in mind all of these where working till the posted issue happened.

Re: 5600 in VSX cluster not booting

Again, do a clean install, nobody knows what is wrong with the box when these things happen, the only good solution is a clean install.
