Unknown error Message

hi,

got stuck with the unknown error message in the endpoint console. All other tab are working fine but when i click the endpoint connectivity under activity report an unknown error dialog box appear and the console hangs out. any solution?

What version of management and the SmartEndpoint client is it on what OS?

Can you reproduce it on multiple machines or only on the one you're running?

hi,

using E80.70HF1(80.70.0247). I have tried from another PC too but has same unknown error. There is the same error.

Hi,

What is your server version? what is your SmartConsole version?

Please share:

- $UEPMDIR/logs/server_messages.log (located on the server machine)

- %localappdata%\CheckPoint\SmartEndpoint_Logs\SmartEndpoint_Logs.txt (located on SmartConsole machine)

- Reproduction date and time

I curious to whether a solution was found to this issue, since I am having the exact same issue. 

Server version: R77.30.03 and Client version: 80.70.0247

i got a weird solution .. when you install the console in win 7 it works fine but when it come up to window  8 and above the problem resist. I suggest you to try the console in win 7 if possible. It's not the solution but am working like that now.

Didn’t get to try you solution, but it might come in handy some other time ☺ thanks

After consulting with TAC I ended up following SK113972, which resolved the issue. The server was showing the European standard day/month/year but looking at it as the American standard month/day/year, which caused the issue.
