Pearson VUE on-line proctored exams and cptrayui.exe

The Pearson VUE on-line proctored exam delivery application PVProctor checks if applications are running before allowing the candidate to start the exam. One of the applications that PVProctor doesn't like is cptrayui.exe. If this process is running, you are not allowed to take the exam.

1. Is there a way to allow, at least temporary, shutdown of the endpoint security agent in order to allow taking of Pearson VUE on-line proctored exams on workstations with endpoint security?

2. Alternatively, can Checkpoint Support resolve this issue with Pearson VUE directly?

Great find. I don't think Pearson will change his Software for all the endpoint agents of it's customers. You could temp. uninstall Check Point's Endpoint Security Agent and reinstall it after you finished the exam.

Yes, uninstall is an option too. Not always a practical one, though.
