CloudSaaS Office 365 E-mail DLP setup

Dear CheckMates,

Question to DLP setup.

I have configured Data Leak Prevention (DLP) policy for Office 365 E-mails in CloudGuard SaaS and because our company operates in Denmark and the rest of Europe I want to comply to EU GDPR regulation of not sending social security numbers among others.

When using this setup I have uses some test social security numbers to send from the office e-mail account to an account outside, but also from a gmail account to and office account. webpage for testing danish social security numbers: Samlet liste af test CPR numre - Projektspace for NSI - Global Site

The system does not flag any e-mails as a data leak.

Does it catch both incoming but also outgoing Social Security Numbers being entered in e-mails?

What am I doing wrong?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks

Kim

Best Regards
Kim

Hi Kim Moberg‌,

DLP should flag sensitive data exiting the company.

Please submit a Service Request and attach some of the test emails you sent. This is the only way for us to review all your configuration to ensure it is correct.

Thanks,

Abigael
