CHECKPOINT R81.20 ON OPENSTACK
Hi Team,
We deployed the Check Point Gateway on an OpenStack (KVM) environment, but it did not go through the initial configuration steps. Instead, it directly shows the login page.
After assigning a public IP with NAT, it opens the Gaia portal, but since no admin account or password was configured and no disk partitioning steps were performed, we are unable to log in. The system automatically picked up the management NIC and presented the login screen without any setup process.
The issue is that we do not have the credentials because the initial configuration wizard did not appear. Kindly advise on how to proceed with accessing and configuring the gateway.

Hi @siddu099 ,
For gateway only images that contain the default credentials select either:
R82 > jaguar_opt_main-777-991001696-GW_unsecured.qcow2
or
R81.20 > ivory_main-634-991001608-GW_unsecured.qcow2
Best Regards,
Jeff

Hi Siddu,
I doubt you have a method to recover the current situation.
I would recommend using images with the default password as you can find in this sk sk158292 - CloudGuard Network Security for Private Cloud images.
After the deployment you can change the password to what you desire.
The default user and password for these images will be admin | admin

Hi Edan,
We can see there are two types of images with default centennials
ivory_main-634-991001608_unsecured.qcow2
jaguar_opt_main-777-991001696-GW.qcow2
Which one we can use for our OpenStack 17.1

Just use what Jeff suggested, those are 100% right ones.
