    <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried - unsuccessfully to install GAIA and Smart Console using the instructions provided by Valeri_Loukine and ran into problems.&amp;nbsp; The installation seemed to work fine, but when I tried to run and GAIA, I kept getting a "403 Error"&amp;nbsp; I tried using both VMware Workstation 15 and VirtualBox, but was unable to connect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would appreciate any assistance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My setup:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Microsoft Surface Book 2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;16GRAM&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;500G HD&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Running on wireless access.&amp;nbsp; Have a FingBox installed in network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried different browsers - Edge, Chrome, IE, FireFox&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm thinking that the IP addressing suggestions are what is screwing me up..&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Check this:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1) Connect via local VMWare connsole.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2) Login as 'admin'&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3) Now set expert password 'set password &amp;lt;your expert pw&amp;gt;'&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4) Login as expert user 'expert'&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;5) Disable firewall policy 'fw unloadlocal'&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6) Check die IP address 'ifconfig'&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;7) Now ping your firewall from your notebook&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the ping works, it's a firewall problem. If the ping does not work it is a VMWare problem.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have a firewall issue check port 443:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;# netstat -an | grep 443&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;and the HTTP prozess:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;# ps - auf |grep httpd&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If both points are ok &amp;gt;&amp;nbsp; check browser proxy settings and clear the browser cache.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What resources have you assigned to the Check Point VM Jeff? Also, is it a standalone deployment whereby it's both a manager and a gateway? Moreover, what sort of interface has it been assigned (bridged, host-only etc.)?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
