Hello,

I'm CCSE R77 which expires in May 2018, if I'm taking CCSE Update R80 before May, how long I will extend my CCSE?

In the meantime, you should consider extending your CCSE using the R80 CCSE Update exam (156-915.80). This exam is a 2-year certification.

Or you can pass CCMSE or CCSM exams instead, also valid for 2 years.

I know a re-certification exam will extend with 2 years but I was asking because I saw that Check Point make it a bit more open now for the update exam, see CCSE Update R80 - New exam available now!

"If you ever held a CCSE certification, even if it is currently expired, you are eligible for this Update exam. So you don't need to start over with CCSA R80.

I just want to be sure before planning for this Update Exam.
