When it comes to studying for the exam you must use the right book for the exam.

Meaning that you must have the right version courseware for the version of exam that you book.

When it comes to labs. Each lab has a separate lab setup guide which included the pre-configuration of the lab VMs and which VMs are included or excluded (when comparing all course labs) and the relevant files (for example scripts, hot fix tar files and cpuse upgrade files) and other configuration.

Check Point supply the lab setup guides to ATCs to prepare the student labs for the relevant courses.

Once you are familiar with each courses labs (lab objectives and lab steps) you would be aware of the challenges of using one course lab for trying procedures (lab steps) in another different course lab.
