CCSM and CCSM Elite question

Hi,

Couldn't find definite information on this so I decided to ask.

I have passed my CCSM exam to gain CCSM certification in December 2020. It was valid for two years and I extended it last year by passing the CCTE exam, so my CCSM expires this December.

I'm taking the CCAS exam tomorrow to gain another extension, but after reading the FAQ I'm not sure this will be possible since only one extension is allowed. Do I have to pass another ISA before CCSM expires to get CCSM Elite or will this one be enough?

Here are the certification dates:

20. Dec. 2020 Passed CCSM exam, gained CCSM certification
15. Dec. 2022 Passed CCTE exam for 1 year CCSM extension

Hello Borut,

The next Specialist you pass will award you the CCSM Elite, as long as you pass it before the CCSM expires.

Hi Jason,

I have a similar question.

My certifications are

CCSM Elite and Specialist CCTA, CCTE, CCME, how to further renew CCSM Elite, when I am not interested in other Specialists courses other than I already have. Could I just do again CCME to extend CCSM Elite for next year?

You can do the same specialist cert only if it is the updated exam (newer version) is my understanding.
