Kindly advice can we do CCTE without CCSE certification. because i saw from Pearson we able to book CCTE directly

Check the prerequisites for CCTE:

Pearson VUE doesn't check if you fulfill all prerequisites, they just offer the exams. Therefore you can also book a CCSE exam without having a CCSA. Even if you pass the CCSE exam you will only get the CCSE certificate from Check Point after you did the CCSA as well.

Please understand that the CCSE is a suggested prerequisite to take the CCTE. But you can take the CCTE exam with no Check Point certs. However, if you plan to use the CCTE as a means to extend your CCSE on the path to CCSM, you must have the CCSE before the CCTE.

Hi Danny.

One correction you need to be aware of. We no longer allow you to take a CCSE if you have not passed the CCSA. Pearson Vue will check for the prerequisite and block it. 😊
